I heard two battling economists both agree that this country is in far worse shape than we have been told due to the current administration blocking attempts to get a clear picture.

 

If we knew the clear picture the market would level off down another 1,000 or so points after a huge crash when the news hits.

 

We are shipping jobs overseas or just flat losing them. Great for corporations for a while but we believed that corporations would, in the end, do what is best. Bush, Sr. saw this theory as crap but accepted the nomination under the man that believed in it. His son used it to create fortunes for his inner circle.

 

The greatest economy possibly in history was under Clinton, the most effective military action ever was under Clinton. The GOP, just in case we forgot, totally opposed the war, called it another Vietnam, failed to support our troops. They don't talk much about it, the people in that area love us now. Compare that to Iraq and Afghanistan.

If we can drop the interest rate from 7% down to 1%, a drop of 6%, why can we not drop it another 2% to an actual -1%. It is only 1/3 the drop that has previously occurred. It is pure logic, pure numbers. It is still an investment in the future.

To qualify for this loan you will jump through hoops, but you should for a -1% loan. This will reward corporations that will play by the rules, keep their books open and their noses clean. The Enron/Halliburtons may still out perform the negative interest companies but the only way to change positively is to make the reward for doing good more profitable than the reward for doing evil.

At one time I believed the rewards just had to be equal.
