Our art connects because we collaborate.
The Bellydancer,
Kodak HIE, dr5 process
Erotica is
still and quiet as much as it is
loud long and hard.
I watch fluid movement
across the spanse of time.
I try to manifest on paper
not one solitary moment, but the passage of
many, on their way through time.
Film is best for this, I have to admit. The only that comes this close to film grain is
Photoshop driving a Digitzing Tablet direct into the Computer Hard Drive.
Digital is not bad. Especially if your chosen film stocks are no longer made. And, yes, that includes Polaroid.
So what do you do?
You either switch you don't really care for; or you try and go digital.
This is what we have done. And now, we just do both. The choice in using film and/or digital is not so much expense (although using Film CAN be more expensive), as it is the collaorative decision. If you have an idea of what you want, let us know.
We'll do everything we can to accomodate.
We approach the photoshoot as a Photographic Process itself. We are not just making pleasing images, we are making monuments to stand the ravages of passing time. Can we leave a message for the people of 12,000 years from now?
The pyramids still look great; and quite frankly, it is almost impossible to even attempt to imagine what they must have looked like when they were inhabited and used daily.
What kind of People were these?
I'd like to believe that we have the opportunity now to do just that.
This.
So, if you want to leave your message for 12,000 Years From Now, then give us a call.
And we'll see if we can make that happen.
